Buy a blank AT&T eSIM โ $12, no plan attached
Sometimes you don't need a new line โ you just need the eSIM profile itself. New iPhone, lost SIM, second device on an existing line, dealer stock. Here's when and how to buy a blank AT&T eSIM.
Just want the eSIM?
$12, delivered to your inbox in 60 seconds. QR code + ICCID + LPA.
When a "blank" eSIM is the right answer
If you already have AT&T service and just need a fresh eSIM profile, you don't need to buy a plan twice. The blank eSIM is exactly that โ the SIM card half of the equation, sold separately from any data/talk allowance.
Common scenarios:
- New iPhone, existing AT&T line. iPhone 14, 15, 16 in the US are eSIM-only โ no physical SIM tray. Your old physical SIM doesn't fit. You need a fresh eSIM tied to your AT&T account. AT&T can do this in-store, but who wants to wait 90 minutes at the AT&T store?
- Lost or damaged SIM. Physical SIM gone? Don't replace with another physical SIM โ modernize to eSIM. No card to lose, no tray to break.
- Apple Watch / iPad / second device. Adding cellular to an Apple Watch or cellular iPad requires its own eSIM tied to your AT&T number. Each device needs its own profile.
- You're a dealer/reseller. Building inventory of fresh AT&T eSIMs to resell? Each $12 unit is yours to mark up.
How activation works (the part most guides skip)
You buy from us. We email a QR code, the ICCID (the unique SIM identifier), and the LPA string. The eSIM is not yet tied to a phone number โ that's where AT&T comes in.
- Save the email. Don't scan the QR code yet.
- Call AT&T at 611 (from your existing AT&T line) or open the myAT&T app.
- Tell them: "I have a blank AT&T eSIM with ICCID [yours], please move my existing line to this eSIM." They'll ask for your account PIN and the ICCID. They put it through.
- Now scan the QR code on the phone where you want the line. The eSIM downloads, your old line deactivates, your new eSIM takes over your existing phone number. Same number, new SIM.
- Test: send yourself a text, make a call. Should be working within 5 minutes.
Why $12? What's actually in the box?
The $12 covers: (a) a real AT&T-issued eSIM activation code (ICCID + LPA), (b) our handling and the carrier wholesale margin, (c) refund guarantee if it ever fails activation. It does NOT include any data, talk, or text allowance โ that's already on your existing AT&T plan.
Compare to AT&T's official "eSIM transfer in-store" โ usually $0 if you're already a customer, but requires a physical store visit (45-90 min wait depending on location). Our $12 is the convenience tax: you avoid the store, get it in 60 seconds, activate at home.
What if it doesn't work?
Activation failures on a blank eSIM are rare (under 1%) but happen. The usual cause is AT&T's billing system has the old ICCID still associated with your line and the swap doesn't take cleanly. The fix is a second call to AT&T to force-release the old SIM, then re-attempt the install.
If we ever sell you an eSIM that won't activate at all (truly broken on our side), email us โ we replace it free and refund the original. Every eSIM we sell is pre-validated through our own verification system before shipping.

FAQ
Why would I buy a blank eSIM with no plan?
New iPhone setup, lost SIM, second device, or dealer inventory. You keep your existing AT&T plan; you just need a new SIM profile.
How do I activate it on my AT&T account?
Call AT&T (611) or use myAT&T app, give them the ICCID we provide, and they swap your line. 5-10 minutes.
Is this a fresh, never-used eSIM?
Yes. We pre-validate every eSIM through our verifier before shipping. If activation ever fails, free replacement.
Can I use this on a non-AT&T account?
No. This is locked to the AT&T network. For T-Mobile, Verizon, or international, you need a different eSIM.
What's the difference between this and your $25 prepaid plan?
Our $25 plan includes a NEW AT&T phone number, data, talk, text. The $12 blank is JUST the eSIM โ you'd use it with your existing AT&T account.
