For teams with an AI assistant · Texts + calls · API

Give your AI assistant
its own real phone number.

Real US mobile numbers, owned and managed in the US by MEISIM USA LLC, a Wyoming company run from Los Angeles.

Your team's AI assistant gets a real US mobile number of its own. It texts people, makes calls and answers calls from that number, and everything it receives comes back to your system. Your assistant does the work. We provide the line.

What your assistant can do with a number

An assistant that works for your team can reach people where they already are: their phone.

Texts

It texts people from its own number

The assistant sends a text from its number, and the reply lands on your webhook within seconds, signed. The full history is there over the API.

Calls

It makes and answers calls

On a voice line the assistant calls out with its own number as the caller ID, and calls to that number ring your voice system over SIP. One call at a time per line.

A real number

A real mobile number, not VoIP

A real US mobile number on T-Mobile. People can save it as a contact and call or text it back like any phone.

Same number

The number stays put

The number stays with your assistant for as long as you renew it, so the people it works with always reach it at the same number.

Calls go through our SIP bridge

Voice-agent platforms connect to a line in trunk mode through our bridge at sip.meisimusa.com, so you do not need a PBX. The full setup is in the trunk mode docs.

Calls out Switch the line with POST /api/v1/sms/lines/:number/sip/mode and {"mode": "trunk"}. Your platform sends its calls to sip.meisimusa.com with the line's own login, and the caller ID is the line's number.
Calls in Set where the line's calls go with PATCH /api/v1/sms/lines/:number/sip/inbound: a preset for the common platforms, or your own SIP address over UDP, TCP or TLS.
If your platform asks for a login Put its SIP username and password in auth_user and auth_pass on the forwarding, and the bridge answers the challenge. If it accepts calls by address instead, allow 45.77.205.201.

Four calls, one assistant with a phone

Plain HTTP with an API key. The full reference is in the API docs.

1

Order a voice line

POST /api/v1/sms/order with count: 1, "voice": true and billing: "monthly". Numbers from stock go live in seconds.

2

Send its texts to your system

POST /api/v1/sms/webhook with your URL. Each incoming text arrives signed, and your assistant decides what to do with it.

3

Let it text

POST /api/v1/sms/lines/:number/send with to and message.

4

Connect calls

Switch the line to trunk mode and set where its calls go. Your voice platform does the talking.

curl -X POST https://api.meisimusa.com/api/v1/sms/order \

The rules that keep the lines working

A carrier number stays a carrier number only while it behaves like one. The full terms are at API and lines terms.

One to one A line is for conversations with the people your assistant works with. Never bulk texting, campaigns or dialers.
A person approves every account We know who runs each account. API keys are issued after a short check, usually the same day.
Not for emergencies These lines cannot reach 911.
Abuse ends the line A line used for spam, fraud or harassment is stopped when we see it, without refund.

Questions teams ask

Is it a VoIP number?

No. It is a real US mobile number on T-Mobile. It saves in the contacts like any mobile, and people can call or text it back.

Does the number stay the same?

Yes. It stays on your account for as long as you renew it. Each line renews month by month from your account balance, or ends on its day if renewal is off.

How does it connect to our voice platform?

Through our SIP bridge at sip.meisimusa.com. Switch the line to trunk mode, and your platform places calls through the bridge with the line's own login. Calls to the number go to the SIP address you set, with presets for the common voice-agent platforms.

Our platform asks for a SIP username and password. Where do they go?

In the line's forwarding settings, as auth_user and auth_pass. The bridge answers your platform's challenge with them. If your platform accepts calls by address instead, allow 45.77.205.201.

What are the lines not for?

They are for one-to-one conversations. No bulk texting, no campaigns and no dialers. They cannot reach 911.

How fast can we start?

Apply, and a person approves the account, usually the same day. Your API key comes with the approval. Numbers from stock go live in seconds, and new ones in minutes.
