Refund policy now spells out how prepaid US lines work

August 9, 2026 · MeiSIM USA

US phone number plans are prepaid lines bought from the carrier at the moment you order. Once a line has been activated, it cannot be cancelled and the payment cannot be returned — the month has already been purchased on your behalf.

That was always the case, but the refund policy did not say it in as many words, which left room for a reasonable person to expect otherwise. It now says so explicitly, including the specific case that has come up more than once: a plan bought in the belief that its mobile data would work outside the United States. It does not, and that is not grounds for a refund once the line is live.

The clause is published in all five languages the policy is available in. Nothing else about the policy changed — if we fail to deliver, or the eSIM cannot be activated and support cannot resolve it, you are still entitled to a full refund exactly as before.
