Get a US Telegram number — for Chinese business users

Telegram is the messaging backbone for crypto, cross-border commerce, and many Chinese-diaspora business communities. If your Telegram is tied to a +86 number, you're region-locked out of certain features and your foreign contacts see a Chinese prefix. A US +1 number from MeiSIM fixes both.

Important: Telegram is blocked in mainland China

Before anything else: Telegram has been blocked by the Great Firewall since 2015. If you are physically in mainland China, you cannot reach Telegram's servers without a VPN. Step-by-step verification

1. Make sure you can reach Telegram (VPN if inside China, otherwise just normal internet).

3. Open Telegram → "Add account" (or fresh install) → enter the US number.
